How to request account deletion

To request deletion, sign in to Alif Keyboard and choose Settings - Account and privacy - Delete Account. If you no longer have access to the app or already uninstalled it, you can submit a request from this page.

Send the request from the email address used for your Alif Keyboard account, or include that account email in your message so we can verify ownership.

What data will be deleted

• Your Alif Keyboard account profile, including email address and display name.
• Synced clipboard data associated with your account.
• Registered device records associated with your account.
• Synced personal keyboard suggestion data associated with your account.
• Other associated personal data stored in the Alif Keyboard cloud service.

What may be retained temporarily

• Security, fraud prevention, and abuse prevention logs may be retained for up to 90 days.
• Encrypted backup copies may remain for up to 30 days before automatic rotation removes them.
• Records required by law, security, or dispute resolution may be retained only as long as required.

Delete some data without deleting your account

You may also request deletion of specific cloud data, such as synced clipboard items, synced personal suggestions, or registered device records, without deleting your Alif Keyboard account. Use the same request button and describe which data you want deleted.

Timing

Verified deletion requests are processed within a reasonably quick period. If we need more information to verify the request, we will contact you by email.
